For over two decades, I thrived as an executive in senior living. I loved my job and the people I worked with. Life was fulfilling, and I felt fortunate to be part of such a meaningful industry.
Then life threw a curveball. COVID-19 hit, my fiancé’s dad’s dementia worsened, and my best friend’s mom was diagnosed with a serious condition. Everyone I cared about was desperate for help.
Seeing their struggles made me realize how many families were in similar situations. So, I took my experience and passion for senior care and created The Help Project. Our mission: to provide families with the support they desperately needed, turning frustration into manageable solutions.
I’m Jaime Roberts, CEO of The Help Project. I’ve helped hundreds of families navigate aging services. I’m a published author, certified dementia trainer, consultant, licensed nursing home administrator, and licensed assisted living manager.
Our company assists busy professionals with aging parents, transforming their frustrations into easy solutions using our simple Assess-Educate-Create approach. We aim to help families confidently care for their loved ones and enjoy life again.
The next step for The Help Project is to create an online community portal. Here, families will access videos breaking down common elder care issues, tools they might need, and an "ask the expert" function.
I am seeking funding to create these high-quality videos and the platform needed to complete this exciting project.
