The Addiction Treatment Centers USA is currently looking for 1.8 Million Dollars in investment capital to fund the start up and rapid growth of our multiple clinics to treat the national substance abuse epidemic.  In year 4 of our growth model, the initial invest capital will be completely paid back through distributions, while the investor continues to retain an equity position in the company.  It is our intent to grow our model organically to 20 locations by year 8, funded entirely by cash flow (after the initial capital investment). Billing is over 90% Medicaid with very few source codes, therefore receivables are a quick turn, aiding cash flow.  Our initial clinics will be in New Jersey and Georgia.  We will grow our model throughout the east coast, and beyond.  We firmly believe that we have a business model that is primed for success.

The Addiction Treatment Centers USA (ATC) will provide personalized substance abuse rehabilitation through methadone maintenance therapy (MMT) and individualized behavioral/psychological counseling with close medical supervision. Contrary to common perceptions, methadone is not simply a substitute drug for opioid addicted individuals but rather a highly successful rehabilitative and behavioral modification therapy.

It is now well known that chronic opioid addicted individuals suffer from depression, anxiety, as well as other mental disorders perpetuated by the dramatic neurochemical swings caused by their opioid use. This leads to chronic behavioral problems, family and job difficulties, and often frank sociopathic and sometimes criminal behavior. Unfortunately, none of our neighborhoods are free of this drug-related pathology.

MMT employs a long-acting medication that replaces abused or illicit opiates and prevents the severe swings in neurotransmitters of the brain. By doing so, patients do not experience the severe “highs” and “lows,” associated with the cravings for their drugs. Their cognition and physical motor skills improve to normal and their antisocial behavior subsides. MMT, sometimes with the assistance of personalized counseling, allows these patients to become productive and welcomed members of our family, social, and work communities again.

A program, such as our ATC model, are remarkably beneficial to communities by decreasing unfavorable behaviors and criminality associated tendencies with opioid addiction. This all results in dramatic personal improvements in quality of life and safety.

Each of our clinics will treat 500 patients per month operating 6 days a week. Typical visit durations for MMT are 5-10 minutes per patient.  This necessitates a system that allows for high patient throughput and provide high levels of individual safety for patients and staff as dictated by municipal, state, and federal health statutes.

Our clinics will strive to be a good “neighbor,” paying close attention to “community awareness.” Our comprehensive treatment with patient specific personalized MMT and counseling will improve scores of individuals lives as well as make our community a better place to live.

As of 2021 New Jersey has an estimated substance abuse treatment demand of 127,000 people. Of which over 60% are not treated due to lack of treatment centers. In Monmouth County specifically, the non-treated demand is over 80%, which is just over 15,000 people. This demand for new substance abuse facilities has rapidly increased since 2021.

The national substance abuse centers concentrate on in-patient facilities and do not provide the type of facilities necessary for MMT. The national centers also lean more towards commercial insurance, leaving out a large percentage of the under privileged. Our centers will concentrate on the Medicaid population, allowing ATC to not having to deal with the unknown reimbursement issues with commercial insurance.

Our plan is to open one facility every 4 months starting in the Summer/Fall of 2024. By mid-2025, the projections show 3 open facilities and 1 in progress with a monthly positive cash flow of over 100K. By the end of 2026, we have 7 open facilities and 1 in progress (NJ and GA) with a positive monthly cash flow of almost 900K. Our goal is to have 16-20 facilities open by year 8.  Our plan, as backed up by projections, is to grow organically as allowed by cash flow and profits.

Our start up target is New Jersey.  We have already laid the groundwork and have our initial facility approved (landlord and township) to open.  Our plan is to open the first 3 facilities in New Jersey, then migrate to Georgia.  As we grow, we also have plans to open into the North Carolina and Florida markets as well.

Our management team is led by the following:

Jay Campbell, CEO: Jay has worked with start-ups his entire career starting in the high-end retail arena, then the specialty clothing production industry on a multi-national platform.  For the last 15 years he has started and grown businesses in the drug and alcohol rehabilitation field.  These businesses have included opening detox/inpatient facilities and intensive outpatient counseling offices.  Jay has a broad knowledge of the profitability, strict policies, and procedures workings of these facilities and will bring these skills to the ATC model.

Will Donald, CFO:  Will has spent multiple decades in the medical field. He was the administrator for 2 large pain management practices coordinating multiple offices and over 50 employees. Prior to that Will was in the retail segment of the US Air Force and NJ Air National Guard. Will’s experience will allow him to oversee the ATC model for efficiency and productivity allowing it to maximize profit while still providing a superior product.

Doug Kessler, COO: Doug has a long history of taking start-up companies and growing them to their full potential.  He has started three businesses in the past and grown each to multi-million dollar companies.  His focus in the ATC model with be on growth and optimizing each facility to its potential, both in service to the patients and the company alike.
