Consumers search Instagram, TikTok, Facebook Events, Eventbrite, Meetup, university calendars, city websites, newsletters, and Google just to find things to do. Meanwhile, businesses spend billions advertising across these platforms, which optimize for clicks and impressions rather than real-world participation. Activdate brings local discovery, social planning, and business advertising into one ecosystem. Consumers discover activities, organize events, and build community, while businesses promote events, memberships, and experiences using consent-based participation data instead of third-party cookies or passive browsing behavior. Over the past 18 months, we have bootstrapped the company through 33 product iterations, launched on the App Store, recruited a founding CTO with three previous exits, a Head of Design who has shipped products for 16M+ users, and a Head of Product bridging engineering and design. We have also onboarded our first beta cohort and successfully hosted SMB pilot events as we open our pre-seed round.
