ACTA has developed a solid state thermal electric technology to replace Freon Compressor HVAC, air conditioning systems and all refrigeration systems. It has no moving parts, is silent, operates at 40% or more efficiency, is lower cost, PATENTED and we have operational prototypes.
The PATENTED technology involves a revolutionary methodology aimed at enhancing the performance of Thermoelectric Solid State Semiconductor Cooling/Heating heat pumps. Unlike traditional systems, this innovation eliminates the need for refrigerants, achieving a Global Warming Potential (GWP) as low as zero, surpassing the stringent GWP<10 requirement. The technology maintains all the functionalities of standard heating/cooling machinery and seamlessly integrates with HVAC product packaging and systems across residential, commercial, and industrial applications.
The ACTA technology provides both cooling and heating from the same device. It is designed as a modular system for scalability from small systems to very large HVAC systems, residential and commercial, and to accommodate various BTU capacities. The basic concept of this technology is illustrated below.
The technology offers a remarkable level of performance, featuring high efficiency, rapid temperature changes, and real-time large BTU variability and scalability. These attributes translate into a significant reduction in operating costs and make the proposed system highly competitive in comparison to conventional alternatives. The estimated Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) exceeds 100,000 hours, ensuring a robust and reliable solution for the diverse requirements. We have successfully built operational prototypes.
