Acquainted Bookkeeping & Payroll provides bookkeeping, Payroll & Tax Services to the local Houston area. I have worked as a Accountant for over 15 years while also providing individual tax services on the side. I have a passion for numbers and I have always dreamed of stepping out on my own. For the last 3 years I have worked hard trying to build my clientele and get Acquainted off the ground. I stepped out on faith last year and things have been going great. For the 2019 tax season, I processed over 155 individual tax returns, 16 prior year returns and successfully assisted 3 clients with IRS reviews. I currently have 3 clients utilizing my bookkeeping and payroll services however, I am limited to the services I can provide due to lack of funds.
Acquainted Bookkeeping & Payroll is a registered LLC in the state of Texas as well as a DBA under the LLC as Acquainted Tax Services, our website is up and running (www.acquaintedbookkeeping.com), I have obtained an EIN from the IRS as well as a PTIN for submitting returns. I currently have marketing ads running on social media ( www.facebook.com/acquaintedbookkeeping ) and utilized free marketing ads (Craigslist, BNI, ect). My goals for Acquainted includes opening a tax office next year, development of customized tax software & extension of bookkeeping services to include providing on-site & virtual training to current bookkeepers.
Funding for Acquainted will be used to pay for software subscriptions, development of tax software to be approved through IRS Modernized E-File for business submissions, lease for tax office for 2021 tax season, payables and marketing.
