A legacy of great music for Tulsa. A family legacy to be passed down.
"The Polyphonic Legacy"
The Point. More music history in the making.
Company Description. "The Vibe."
Music has always been a part of my life. From learning the recorder in grade school, up to creating and recording richly written and composed songs, on analog and digital platforms. From learning about different genres like Reggae and "Motown"R&b. Rock and Country. Classical and Funk, from my Mom growing up in Georgia and Tulsa to finding favorites like TooL, IceCube and Beethoven. All, magic to my ears.
That's the kind of recording studio I want "The Polyphonic Legacy" to be. The vibe I want it to ooze from every crevice. I want to give Tulsa, not just the people, but the city itself, a place that says, "Great music lives here.". Like Cain's Ballroom in a way.
I want new and old. I want established and unknown. I want heart and soul. I want MUSIC! And I think Tulsa does too.
Services and Products "Wants and Wares":
Time. People want time. People need time. In the recording business time is numero uno. We sell time. Time to Record. Time to hone. Time to live. Time to be that much closer to a dream.
Structure. People want structure. People need structure. The Polyphonic Legacy can offer structure, not only in the expertly crafted physical space of the building, but also through the relationships built and the social and business networks that will flourish at The Polyphonic Legacy.
Top notch gear means top notch sound. It also means ease of set-up and use.(Brands: Yamaha. Presonus. Sure. Arturia. Studio One. EtC.) Recording/Mastering is the main idea, so I don't think there would be a ton of in-house merch. But, some things might be worth the effort. (I.E. Drumsticks, Guitar Strings. Mics, maybe a couple brands of headphones.) Those would help give the artist their experience a custom touch and save in-house gear from a bit of wear and tear.
"The Polyphonic Legacy" brand T-shirts. Coozies. Guitar Pics. Et C.
Maybe a few songbooks. All up for R&D.
And last but not least, some knowledge about Tulsa, the awesome city they are recording in. That will be through first hand knowledge of possible employees and through TPL's research and deliverance of it.(Articles, Landmark Locations, Et C.)
