A Living Tribute is a memorial and tribute tree planting company founded in 2014 with a simple mission: to help people honor loved ones and meaningful life events by restoring forests and natural landscapes across North America.

Customers can dedicate trees in memory of a loved one, in honor of a person or occasion, or as a meaningful sympathy gift. Each dedication can include a personalized commemorative card or digital E-Certificate for the recipient, while the trees themselves are planted through large-scale reforestation and ecological restoration projects.

Over the past decade, A Living Tribute has supported tree planting across the United States and Canada, including projects in national and state forests, wildfire recovery areas, wildlife habitats, watersheds, and other ecologically important landscapes. Our projects range from restoring forests damaged by major wildfires to reestablishing native tree species and improving habitat, biodiversity, soil health, and watershed resilience.

Transparency is an important part of our model. Rather than simply telling customers that a tree has been planted, we work to connect them with the larger restoration project their dedication supports. Customers receive information about planting locations, tree species, restoration goals, project updates, photographs, maps, and, where available, GPS coordinates and planting verification.

Our new EverTrack program in partnership with Veritree expands on this approach by providing enhanced verification and long-term visibility into designated planting projects. As our network grows, we are continuing to incorporate technologies and field data that help customers better understand where their trees are taking root and how these restored landscapes develop over time.

A Living Tribute serves individual consumers as well as businesses, veterinary hospitals, funeral homes, healthcare organizations, law firms, and other organizations that use tree planting as a thoughtful way to recognize loss, celebrate milestones, and demonstrate environmental stewardship. We also offer corporate and large-scale planting programs for organizations wishing to dedicate hundreds or thousands of trees.

Since our founding, we have developed long-term relationships with experienced forestry and conservation organizations and built a scalable model that combines e-commerce, personalized gifting, customer service, and measurable environmental impact. More than a one-time gift, our goal is to create a lasting connection between each dedication and the forest it helps restore.
