Emerald Isle Farms is a cannabis dispensary which provides a clean, calming atmosphere. This atmosphere provides new customers the opportunity to ask questions and learn about different strains, their properties and how they can assist them. Secondly, for the recreational user, they're able to purchase product and
be on their way.
The Emerald Isle Farms team consists of two people who will own the LLC which will be created with part of the funds requested. Jim Nivens, has personal experience with the use of cannabis as a medicine and wants to spread this information through the dispensary. Kelly Eidson is the business man, as well as the designer of the dispensary itself. He has experience running small businesses, as well as a background in construction which will allow us to create that calming environment that will set us apart from other dispensaries.
In our opinion, having visited many dispensaries in a 50 mile radius, no one is capturing the new middle aged and older customer. They are all set up to sell to younger customers so the atmosphere is very bright, loud music playing, almost a mall shop feel. I have never seen this unserved population in any of these dispensaries. Being in this age bracket, I can see why they are overwhelmed and do not frequent these establishments. We believe that we are the solution to this bringing in this unserved group, offering them a calm, relaxing experience where questions can be asked and answered by professionals who can adapt to any age and expertise level to supply customers with exactly what they're needing.
In the location we will be opening, there are no dispensaries. The location is a rapidly growing, for lack of better terms, suburb of the third largest city in the state. A quick turnaround will allow us to be the first in the market in this town. Combined with a clean and comfortable atmosphere and top notch, caring customer service we will establish a solid and loyal customer base. A couple of goals are to create a drive-through option as well as a delivery service for those unable to make it to the facility in conjunction with online ordering.
Forward progress has begun, two promising locations have been scouted for the facility and we have been in contact with the City and State governments to begin applications for licenses and permits to bring this dream to fruition. We have made contact with a cannabis grow operation on the south side of the town that we currently reside and have spoken to them about selling their products in the dispensary.
We are asking for $150,000 which will cover all licensing, securing facility and remodel, product, initial two employees and operating costs. We expect to begin making profit within the first few months based on the current demand for the products. We feel we have achieved our vision when the dispensary operates on it's own, creating a solid $20,000 profit each month, which will allow us to begin looking at a second area to open a second facility.
We are highly motivated and ready to get started on this dream. Thank you for your time and consideration.
