Seeking $300,000 to continue our mission of stopping destructive wildfires faster
The HotRox Wildland Valve, a flagship product of 3T1B Products Inc, is a wildland firefighting valve created by our company President, who is also a proud firefighter since 1996. For decades, wildland firefighters have been installing hoselays along the edge of fires using the same techniques, tools, and methods. These methods are slow, manpower intensive, and have a high margin of error. The use of the HotRox wildland valve significantly improves the speed, efficiency, and safety of firefighters and gives them an advantage over rapidly growing fires like never before. After years of development, prototyping, testing, and patenting, our valve is actively available and selling.
Fire agencies across the country have shown great interest in the HotRox valve and immediately see its benefit the second they have it in their hands. Our primary challenge at this point is the need to secure purchasing with the "big fish" first. These larger organizations include the US Forest Service, Bureau of Land Management, and Cal Fire to name a few. Once this is accomplished, smaller organizations are sure to follow suit. The reason behind this is the smaller departments must be able to re-supply their stock on incident for larger campaign fires. This is provided at incident base through supply cache orders that are brought to the large fires themselves via orders through the incident management teams, a group of individuals assembled to manage and operate large fire incidents. Without this in place, they risk the inability to replenish their engines to original inventory, and this has caused hesitation on purchasing decisions at times. We are now in the beginning phase of the federal approval process and anticipate full approval by the end of 2024.
Based on feedback from firefighters everywhere, we have no doubt that the HotRox valve will one day be spread across every wildland firefighting engine and agency in this country, and perhaps worldwide. We are seeking investors who have a desire to support public safety and wish to see their investment make a difference in protecting lives and property. To achieve success in our next steps, the addition of high level connections at state and federal government levels would be a tremendous asset from any investment group. Large scale purchasing can be driven by many factors, from lower level social media marketing to high level political influence to entice all stakeholders and decision makers. The former is underway and proven. Our current marketing strategies include social media exposure, trade shows, and direct cold contact. This will be continued and enhanced with solicited fundraising efforts. Our valve is the only one of its kind on the market, patent protected, with tremendous growth opportunity. Once we break through our next barrier, sales will explode. We anticipate sales topping totals of $15-20 million in the next 3-5 years with unlimited lifespan and company potential. Wildfire in the US is a multi-billion dollar industry every year, regardless of the severity. This product and future company products have access to over $250 million serviceable available market annually.
Current pricing structure with the HotRox valve is comparable or better to existing like appliances, though none of our competitors offer the advantages of our valve. Hence, the reason behind our amazing feedback from firefighters. They want our product and it sells itself. For most agencies, deploying this valve will entail a full-scale replacement of their current devices. For our company to keep costs as low as possible for them, bulk ordering from our manufacturers is also part of our plan. Fundraising will allow us to proactively make these orders and have inventory on hand when larger orders come in, decreasing lead times and overall cost. Warehousing, fulfillment, and shipping has been factored in as a part of projected scaling.
The HotRox Valve, why its better:
When firefighters can't get trucks or engines close to the edge of a growing wildfire, they deploy hose lines from a given point along the edge of the fire in an effort to extinguish, contain, or direct the fire. They accomplish this by hiking packs of hose on their backs and extending the hoselay one section at a time, spraying water as they go. Current practice involves the use of hose clamps to stop the flow of water so they can attach the next hose and keep extending the hoselay. This process requires three firefighters, and typically takes the crew 60 seconds or longer to add the next section.
This same process, using the HotRox valve, which features an integrated shut-off, eliminates the need for an additional firefighter to clamp the hose, freeing up one firefighter, who can better provide assistance instead of operating a hose clamp. In addition, the immediate stoppage of water flow so the firefighters can attach the next section of hose will only take 20-30 seconds. The advantage in this simple fully integrated device is a game changer. Hoselays can extend thousands of feet. 1,000 feet of hoselay has 9 hose transitions since lengths of hose are 100 feet in length. Using the HotRox Valve, firefighters have reached the end of a 1,000-foot hoselay a full 4 minutes faster compared to current methods, and they've done it in a safer manner.
If we stop even one fire from causing more destruction, we will have achieved success. Given the unfortunate fact that fires will still happen, there will always be a need for this product.
This mission was the vision of a firefighter years ago, and we have made it this far self-funded. We will see it through regardless, but we are excited to now be in a position to offer up an opportunity for the right investor(s) to join us on our journey.
