Introducing Beverly Place, a 55+ Senior Cooperative with luxury amenities unlike your typical Coop. The entire concept has been developed by my oldest sister, Michelle Bloyd, a high end designer in Minneapolis, MN, (mbloyddesign.com) along with her partner, Michael Halley,, Halley Land Corporation. They have teamed up on a variety of projects over many years. My youngest sister, Terri Smith, has a Marketing Degree & specializes in Senior Housing. I retired from the Postal Service after 34 years to head up the sales team in our Burlington, Iowa showroom.  Our parents moved into town from their farm to a Senior Cooperative in Burlington and were not happy with the lack of “Wow” factor in their unit. They didn’t feel they should have to sacrifice the upgraded surroundings from their family home to downsize & gain maintenance free living. My oldest sister decided to take action & has since designed a 14 acre site with 3 progressive buildings....1 more “affordable” building(23 units-optional), 1 “model” building(13 units showcasing for main building) , 1 “signature” building(44 units). Michelle has designed the site  plan, exterior & interior building designs, floor plans, & made selections for the entire project. We collectively have done extensive research in the senior housing market, Where, Why, What seniors need & desire for  health, wellness & social interactions to enrich & extend their lives. We have the vision, the ambition, the experience, and the determination...We just need the funds to continue on our journey.
