2nd Day Lab is a third-party analytical chemistry lab. We are a woman owned, Texas business focused on testing hemp. 2nd Day Lab’s mission is to increase hemp production sustainability by providing quality lab results to our hemp partners of farmers, processors, and distributors. We will bring transparency and integrity to a new and unknown market. With accurate results, our hemp partners can avoid costly mistakes and supply the demand for products customers can trust. Our services will include testing for mold, microbials, THC potency, pesticides and other substances.
Starting out our business will have the capacity to do about 100 samples in a single 8 hour shift. At this time if we get our projected 10% of the market this should be enough. If we do get more of the market than projected, then we can either start a night shift crew or purchase additional instrumentation. At the end of our first year, we plan to increase our testing panel by purchasing a more high profiled instrument, which will increase our revenue by $200000 annually at the projected market of 10%.
The growth potential is exponential. Globally, the hemp market is expected to generate $4.6 billion this year and grow to $32 billion by 2022.

Skye has written detailed standard operating procedures and testing methods for 2nd Day Labs. Sierra Vincent has a BS in Business and Computational Science. She has over 20 years of experience managing small businesses. Currently she is a successful business consultant helping small businesses streamline their procedures.
