Zinger’s/The Dark Woods Haunted Attraction

My name is Chad Zingales, and I have been in the entertainment/hospitality/service industry for more than 25 years.  The cornerstone of my career has been in the golf industry, where I have focused my talents and passions on Event Planning, Marketing, and Operations Management.  

Throughout my career I have also been blessed to have the unique opportunity to envision, create, and manage several successful business ventures (listed below). 

In 2010, I created The Dark Crop Haunted Attraction on a local farm.  The event was a huge success, working in collaboration with local improv students while also entertaining more than 2500 guests every October for more than 9 years.  In 2020, the expansion of The Dark Crop turned into The Dark Woods, and the haunted tradition grew.  In 2021, The Dark Woods hosted more than 3000 visitors from all over New England.  Our clientele consist of Halloween enthusiasts, families, and couples ranging from age 10-ages 50.  The Dark Woods is still in operation on a seasonal basis (open select weekends throughout the month of October, weather permitting).  The website can be found at www.thedarkwoodsnh.com.    

In 2015, I opened The Grill Cleaner of NH, a mobile grill cleaning service offering professional grill cleanings throughout New Hampshire, Maine, Vermont, and Massachusetts.  My company's customer list has grown exponentially each year, and the concept is widely popular with clients who do not want to be tasked with cleaning their own BBQ grills.  my large client base includes business owners, executives, and families.  This business is still in operation on a seasonal basis (March - December, weather permitting).  The website can be found at www.grillcleanernh.com.    

In 2019, I established an entertainment venue called Zinger's, featuring live music, comedy,  storytelling, and workshops.  During its 16 month lifespan, Zinger's hosted more than 60 shows and events, offering the community a much needed break from the typical "bar band scene".  The business model appealed to a wide audience; ranging from ages 25-65.  This business closed in February, 2021 after being struck  by COVID.  Past show footage can be found at HERE.

This next chapter of my life will be a combination of ALL these endeavors, combed into one venture and located on one property.  The Dark Woods Haunted Attraction will be held in the autumn months.  Zinger's will offer a unique and memorable place for live entertainment and the performing arts on site.  Our property will also be a place to host large events, weddings, and fundraisers.  Lastly, The Grill Cleaner of New Hampshire will continue to grow, taking the business model to the next level by offering fellow entrepreneurs territories and profit sharing opportunities.
