WorldEd’s business model is multifaceted:
Subscription Packages: Students subscribe to WorldEd in Economy, Standard and Premium
Packages ($350/$685/$1,250).
Commission: WorldEd gets 10-35% of first-year fees per student enrolled at each partner
school. WorldEd also gets 3% of fees for any student enrolled through an agent.
Online Programs: 50%-80% of course fees for proprietary WorldEd courses.
Course Commissions: 3% of individual course/tutoring arrangements brokered through the
platform.
Service Commissions: WorldEd gets 3% commission on service partner referrals, including
housing, transportation, technology, insurance, SIM cards, etc.
Ad Sales: WorldEd sells advertising space on the platform. $200-$5,000.
