Women supplement Gummies. I am looking for a startup funding!
Hello My name is Thekra Hweih. I am a Nutrition master student at UIC and I am graduating this fall. I am looking for someone to invest in my business idea, which is a supplement for women with Polycystic Ovaries Syndrome (PCOS). My supplement helps women restore fertility and reverse symptoms of PCOS which includes but not limited to: weight gain, hair loss, excessive body hair gain, depression, fatigue, high androgen levels, insulin resistance, and infertility. Why I chose to address this problem? PCOS is very common among women in their childbearing age, around 15 % of women have PCOS. However, by increasing awareness on PCOS and improving diagnosis rates prevalence of PCOS would rise up. Women uses oral contraceptives to manage PCOS. However, they have adverse effects that leads women to stop it.
My product will be in the form of gummies, because they are tasty and more appealing than tablets or powders. Another advantage of making them in the form of gummies is that we wont have competition to our product. I also plan it to be Vegan, Halal, and Kosher so it can be suitable for all women.
I tried to establish my business by contacting many supplement private label companies but I couldn't manage to start it because they require a high minimum batch that I cannot afford. I am looking for an investor and mentor and I am open to any sort of negotiation.
