My name is Tom Loveday. I moved to Unicoi County in North East Tennessee From Austin Texas about 15 years ago. I have a friend and colleague David Parkansky who still lives in Austin Texas His Company VioLume LLC has designed, developed, Filed for a Patent and tested a UVC system that sterilizes  surfaces and air in rooms. The system has been specifically designed to be installed in exam rooms, hospital rooms as well as any other room that might be exposed to or contaminated with pathogens and therefor the target market segment is medical facilities such as hospitals, doctors’ offices, etc. A couple years ago I had mentioned to him that when he gets ready to begin production that he should consider moving his operation to this area. Tennessee is a business-friendly state and this area in particular has some distinct advantages such as availability of skilled workers and empty facilities that could be moved into immediately.  At the time he had commitments for funding from investors in and around Austin. That funding was contingent on him setting up his operation in central Texas. Late last year he gave me a call and indicated that he was ready to build his production facility but because so many High Tech companies such as HP, Samsung, Google, Etc. had been moving to the Austin area and now even Tesla has announced that they are going to build their electric truck manufacturing facility in Austin that he was considering my suggestion because he and his team believe that the competition for skilled labor along with the rising cost of running a production facility in the area will add significant cost to the Product. Therefore, they would like to establish their headquarter, marketing and production facilities in northeast Tennessee. In doing so he will lose his funding and is now seeking funding from another source. He will need to get some help if he is to move his operation to this area. The revenue potential and initial projections are significant. He will be creating good paying jobs for skilled workers as well as hiring people to fill positions in Marketing, Information systems, sales, and administration. If this is the type of project you would consider funding.
