Wash my whip will utilize calls, texts, email, mail, social media and organically driven traffic from referrals where the client receives a free touch up for referring a friend, where the majority of our business will come from door to door.
My technique at the door is that I’ve learned there’s never any salesman who’s right about anything at there door, so my script is meant to lead them into saying:
- “Yea, ok that’s nice. How much if I just want the whole car washed?!”
The customer already knows what they want, they just don’t want be accused as being simple so I provide them with an understanding of why the whole vehicle might not be wash first, and allow them to lead the conversation in which ever way they want, giving them the illusion of control; I’ll provide a complex break-down of the wash forcing them to ask the question above directly.
