Wall Street contest (?).....(no official name, yet).

It's not too good to be true, you can win $100,000 regardless of the economy.

I want to create a website that promotes a stock contest. In my eyes it would last 3 months and cost  $250.00 per person. The website sets up each client with an imaginary account and each contestant starts off with $100,000.   The person who raises the most money in their imaginary account would win $100,000 dollars (lets say  Second highest would win $50,000, 3rd would win $25,000, 4th would win $10,000 and 5th would win $5,000).  Each month would start a new contest.  The first business day of every month would be a new contest.  People can enter as many contests as they like.   For now, there is no discounted prices the more games you play.   It is conceivable that we can go through a recession, people lose money, but the person who loses the least money can walk away with $100,000.  In the future we might want to set up multiple contest (one for NYSE, one for NASDAQ, etc).  If the desire is there.

Further vision:  I plan to be the sole employee to keep expenses down.  If the website crashes, we will have on contract someone who will repair the site.  We will also farm out email marketers to get the word out, full page ads in WSJ, etc....also advertise in TDAmeritrade and other stock platforms.  For this to work, we need a minimum of 1000 contestants per month, I see that as very doable.  I would like this to be up and running by no later than July....but there is no set date.

About me: No computer experience.  If there is a glitch in the web site, I will spot it and call contractors to fix the issue.  Contractors will be on duty and are usually part of the web designers job.  I'm just a guy who has a terrific idea and time to put it together.
