Dear Investor,
Unscheduled machinery maintenance in a manufacturing plant is often very costly. Monitoring the vibration and temperature levels is commonly done to access the health of operating equipment and thus avoid unscheduled downtime.
Unchecked machine vibration can reduce bearing life, accelerate rates of wear, and cause pre-mature failures. Excessive vibration can cause excessive power consumption, create safety problems, degrade plant working conditions and impact product quality.
Vibration data has traditionally been acquired by attaching accelerometers to the surfaces of a machine or structure and digitizing the accelerometer signals with a multi-channel data acquisition system or spectrum analyzer. This is hardware-expensive, time-consuming, and often requires direct contact with hot machinery.
We have developed software for extracting vibration and temperature data from a cell phone video. This revolutionary non-contacting measurement technology will be disruptive in the route-based machine health monitoring market. This market is currently over $3 billion in annual sales and is projected to grow at a 9% CAGR.
We are seeking investment to finish deployment and market a new software application for mobile devices called LENS+ Machine Health®. LENS+ extracts vibration and temperature data from a cell phone or tablet video and archives the data into a machine-based cloud database where it is compared with industry standard levels.
This app will utilize the cell phone in almost everyone’s pocket, including field technicians, engineers, and plant management. LENS+ will be sold as a SaaS product. Monthly and annual subscriptions will be offered from our internet website.
To develop, market and support LENS+, we have incorporated a new company in the state of Delaware called MechaniCom, Inc. We are seeking investment capital for MechaniCom in the form of a 3-year convertible note for two purposes,
1. Implement the LENS+ software in the Apple iOS and Google Android operating systems
2. Develop a world-wide sales and support network
We project that MechaniCom, Inc. will capture 1% of the machine health monitoring market within 3 years and 2% within 5 years. This should provide at least a 10x return on your investment.
At your request, we will send you our pitch deck and business plan which detail our growth plans for MechaniCom.
Best regards,
Shawn Richardson, President, MechaniCom, Inc.
Mark Richardson, Board Chairman, MechaniCom, Inc.
