Ventex Mobile Cleaning Services is a company that provides mobile cleaning services for car dealerships and individuals. Our primary target market is car dealerships who need a service provider who can help keep their cars clean and available for customers. Many of these dealerships require a service provider who can clean the cars from the outside using only water and soap. They need a service provider who works fast and helps them clean all cars clean and tidy. While some dealerships have their service centers, we also have a deal for them to consider. We also offer a membership plan for individual clients who purchase cars from these dealerships. Our membership plan includes two washing services per month at the customer's location. For clients who buy our membership or subscribe to it, we will pay a referral fee to the car dealer.
To start the business, we need an initial investment that will help us to get at least two vans equipped with the necessary supplies. These supplies mainly consist of a water tank with a capacity of 100 gallons, a hydro jet, a vacuum, an electric power generator, and cleaning supplies such as car shampoo, wax, protection sponges, fabric towels, and specially designed towels for drying the car after washing it. We may also need other products for eventual detailed services. This investment will cover the cost of the van, plus operational expenses like gas, maintenance, car insurance, etc)
We also plan to offer our clients a landing page with basic information about our services. Additionally, we need to provide uniforms for our washers. These uniforms will consist of a cap and a t-shirt with the company logo.
As an additional service, we are willing to offer mobile cleaning services for companies who need to keep their offices clean. We can also offer this service to companies who require basic wiping of surfaces, changing trash can bags, and vacuuming of carpeted areas. Detailed office cleaning services can be also provided and would include mopping and windows cleaning (only inside) This service would be provided after office hours, which would be also the hours available after our dealership clients are closed.
During initial prospecting meetings with at least four car dealerships, we have already identified their specific needs. We know that most of them require a service provider who can wash their cars and visit them at least twice a week. We need to have at least seven workers or washers who can wash a bunch of cars on the same day. A bunch of cars can mean, depending on the case, around 50-60 cars in a day for smaller dealerships. In other cases, our clients may need us to wash up to 70-100 cars in a day.
Most of our potential clients own more than one dealership, which means that if we sign a contract with one of them, they can also recommend us to the managers of other dealerships from the same brand. This way, we can guarantee that we can have a workflow from at least fifty cars daily, which means a minimum of 350 cars weekly. We expect to grow this business in a short time.
We are also willing to offer a franchise service or option for those interested in joining us. For drivers and washers interested in joining our company, we can provide them with the necessary materials and branding, as well as a database of some of our clients to start working with. They can also prospect their clients, and in those cases, we will continue to provide the washing supplies to ensure that the quality standards for all washing services remain the same. We will charge a percentage of their sales every week.
The average pay for each car is $10. Our client expects that we can wash up to 70 cars daily. We need a minimum of 3 dealerships to guarantee a workflow from about 1000 cars weekly. Having 3 vans available would allow us to wash more than that and cover our expenses and still have profit. (cost structure and sales projections available) We plan to hire at least seven people who will work daily at each car dealership. We will pay them a portion of the amount that we charge for each car (40%), taking into consideration the time it might take them to wash a car and the number of cars they can wash in an hour. This would give them an average pay rate between $12 and $15 per hour, which is a very competitive salary for car washers in the area. This way, we can guarantee a committed workforce, and we expect to keep our personnel rotation rate as low as possible.
In addition, we plan to buy vans from a platform that specializes in posting available local bids. This way, we can access cars that are not as expensive as brand-new cars but are still in optimal conditions with low mileage. This will allow us to offer more affordable prices to our customers as well.
