After having spent some time working in the public charter industry and listening to customers, I realized there is a great demand for small personalized private charters. With Horry County being the fastest growing county in the United States and the second largest tourist city, second to Miami alone, this makes North Myrtle Beach a lucrative area for investment.
The demographic has changed substantially within the last 2 years with more white collar families moving to the area and looking for things to do in relation to being on the water, which makes Uncharted Waters a unique experience. The current local economy is saturated with over crowded fishing head boats and dolphin tour boats, that do not provide the enjoyment a private charter will offer.
Uncharted Waters is looking to operate a single boat for year one with the intention of adding additing vessels as the need grows.
