Hello my name is Sunny and I am a Chef of 15 yrs and have 20 yrs experience in the Food Service Industry. I am seeking funds to begin my new project that highlights Indian Cuisine in a new Progressive and modern model. I will be using authentic and unique indian flavor combinations that not only are outside of the norm, but are not dishes served anywhere here in the Houston area. Our restaurant focuses on traditional technique and flavors, but plating and atmosphere are more modern and progressive with a family sharing aspect. Think of an Indian version of Mediterranean Mezze. The overall feel and flavor will demand a James Beard Foundation nomination or award, so there are no corners to be cut. Our service model is based on 100% hospitality with a training structure that gives all of our staff the tools to succeed in providing an award winning experience.
Our Concept will be the first ever Chaat Bar and Chefs Tasting Counter in regards to Indian Cuisine in the Houston Area. This means I the Chef will also be serving our guests directly as well.
