I want to create a website which would give a chance to job switchers with a confirmed job offer to collaborate with a member of the team:
Most employers do not provide more than 5-10 minutes for the job seeker to ask question during an interview.
Employers/Interview panel may be reluctant to answer any difficult questions, such as, lay offs/cost cutting/job off-shoring/office politics or might be viewed in a bad perspective.
Gain more insight about the challenges/success criteria for the new opportunity
Make an informed decision whether a job opportunity is the right fit
This would provide the job seeker a 360 degree view of the new opportunity by collaborating outside of the interview settings
Without the pressure of the interview setting, the job switcher would be at ease to ask the right questions and make an informed decision.
I plan on achieving this goal by have an online video conference between the two parties. These sessions would be price tiered depending on the position and the industry.
Develop a casual relationship/informal mentor with someone in the team even before joining the company.
