I would like to introduce myself, my name is Andrew Lemstrom. I come with 10 years of technology business experience, and have dealt with business investments in the past.
I would like to provide wireless internet to customers in my region, and data-center related services - provide web site, email, managed vps, etc. The intent is to fully own the equipment that's on homes, as well as the towers at customer site. Customers pay for our time coming onsite to install radios, etc.
I am presently an MSP and range between $750/mo to $2000/mo in income. I also work to subsidize my employment by working for Advance Auto Parts.
The $300k I will be initially be requesting for will be for acquiring 20 or 23 plus 140' towers with equipment and paying for 3 years of internet service, plus employee for two years. Each tower, is planned to have 20 users on them, bringing in $239,700/yr within 3 years (I've seen it). I have a spreadsheet built out already with all the items needed to set towers up, that I can share. There's a buffer of $25,000 to be left for a potential place to rent to call home for the business, acquire vehicles, insurance, etc.
If possible, I would like to build a shell to act as a datacenter (purchase land in local town near fiber and build a building) but that is outside the expense of the $300,000 asked.
The idea is to have inbound bandwidth coming in to offset costs for the datacenter end and vice versa and provide as many services as possible.
