Executive summary
My company’s main focus is to clean and sanitize commercial and residential trash bins. In the beginning, I will be the only employee/ owner until the company grows big enough to hire others. Starting out I will serve the Johnson City Tennessee area and work at expanding to the Tri-state area which covers multiple cities and neighboring states.
Company description
This company will solve the harmful bacterial investigation and smell that can come from the build-up of waste that is discarded every day at home and at businesses. Everybody and every company is a potential customer. Where I live the waste disposal company serves over 22,000 residential trash bins, not including the dumpster from business and apartment complexes. From what I can tell nobody in my area offers the service I will provide.

I have created an LLC and I will be the one operating the business.
Service or product line
We will offer a cleaning service to our customers. Our main focus is the customer trash bin and removing their harmful bacteria and smell. Another service that we will provide is pressure washing of any kind to the customer's house or driveway. There will be several subscription options for customers to purchase. Anywhere from a monthly subscription, every other month subscription, or on an as-needed basis.
Marketing and sales
A lot of marketing will be by word of mouth some of which includes business cards, flyers, and different types of ads. Also, I plan on going to like farmers' markets or events of that nature to have a booth with information about what services I provide. In order to retain customers I will provide excellent service to that they will subscribe to the plans yearly. The majority of the sales will be done through the website where pay and enter their information.
Funding request
I am asking for $100,000 to $150,000. This will cover the cost of all the equipment, storage, software, marketing, and another cost that come with running the business for the first few years. I plan on paying off the loan sooner than the term of the loan. The biggest portion of the cost will be used to purchase and truck and trailer with the equipment I need. The estimated cost of that will be $100,000. Then the cost of advertising, creating a website, and insurance will be an estimated cost of $10,000. Storage for equipment is an estimated cost of $2,000, and the rest will be for other expenses until enough revenue comes in to support it.
Financial projections
My goal is to get 30 to 40 new customers per month. I will have a one-time payment for 9 months at either $20 to $25 per month per bin to equal $180 to $225. Every other month for $30 to $35 per month per bin, and as needed or once for $40 to $45 per bin. If there is an additional bin, I will charge $5 to $10 per additional bin. For one truck and one man, my rough estimate of how many bins a day can do is 100 or 500 a week. At an estimated cost of $20 per bin that’s $10,000 a week and $390,000 a year. All of that is just for residential at some point I will offer services to commercial businesses to clean out big dumpsters. The Johnson City Public work which offers waste pick up in one of the cities told me they service over 22,000 trash bins.
