Raising $200K completion funds for the feature film 'Ties That Bind'

We are a film production company with a Canadian-based feature film, title 'Ties That Bind,' distributor attached, with world sales potential. We are seeking to close financing of it's $1 million to $2 millionCAD budget. The first investors are committed already for $200K CAD, and we'd like to find additional funds to close, with tax credit incentives from the Province and Government of Canada available to interested investors.

The 200K would be used for to specific purposes: to help attract one to two top-level performers to the project for walk on (1 to 2 day) roles, in order to help attract sales confidence to the project. Particular named talent are already in mind, but can be discussed. And secondly, to assist the production with funds to complete the building of the family home in the story, in order to achieve a specific director vision and to increase marketing budget for the film.

The project is a thriller/drama, set in the 1930's at the height of the Depression in rural small town, and follows triplet brothers (Tom, Dan, and Huck) through their along their emotional journey involving love, sex, murder, and betrayal amidst the political turmoil that surrounded the Province at the time. The film has many historical accuracies including the "Prosperity Certificate" plan (attempting to pay $25 per month to end Depression), how a dark & bitter cold winter can play with a persons rational thinking, and how a political machine can wreak havoc on lives when an insider attempts to "bite the hand".

What we are offering for $50K investment and above, an Executive Producer credit on the film at minimum. Other terms such as company equity to be discussed on case by case basis.

The waterfall structure has private investors in first position (Tier 1) of payback of money invested, then second position of up to 20% ROI - trying to achieve 10% per year of 2 years after release- then Producer investment payout as position three (Tier 3), and finally Tier 4 50%/50% investor/producer profit split.
