Three Hounds Training Ground LLC

Welcome to Three Hounds Training Ground LLC, the canine training and competition center. Three Hounds is home to an indoor regulation and competition pool and dock and also a training facility for handlers at the beginning of their dog's career through the advanced competitor. Three Hounds currently has 2 very qualified trainers on staff with a multitude of guest trainers who hold working seminars and private lessons are their schedule allows. Currently, Three Hounds is one of 3 larger training facilities in the area, but the only competition Dock Diving pool within a 100 mile radius. 

Three Hounds is very fortunate to be able to host competitions, classes, and workshops all of which help in the continued growth. As you can imagine, there are many dog trainers in the community but inly Three Hounds is able to offer a variety of training and an indoor pool. It is the indoor pool that sets Three Hounds apart from other training facilities and between the pool and training program grab people's curiosity to walk in the doors. Once there, they quickly realize Three Hounds is a place to work and play with their dog. 

In the 4 years that I have been in operation, I started with an indoor pool, added an outdoor competition pool, added training for beginning and first time pet owners, continued with intermediate classes and now offer advanced level competition classes in obedience, rally, nose work, and dock diving. It is because of this quick growth that I need to update one of my areas to an indoor competition area for rally, obedience, and now agility.  To up date this area, I would need  25k - 30k for improvements and equipment.

Once improvements are made and classes increase, I will be able to open this area not only for competitions but also for private rentals for individuals who are ready to work on their own to  reach their competition goals.  This area will also allow me to explore additional dog sports such as disc dog (Frisbees) and conformation.  If money and time were of no object, I would create Three Hounds to be the Disney Land for dogs; offering as many sport possibilities to try and train. Of course I have also joked that everyone would know when I was done building Three Hounds because we would end with the Three Hounds Pub - train all day and then grab a bite to et with your best 4 legged bud. (A girl can dream!!!!)

In the meantime, I continue to watch the training program grow, the dock diving grow, and the swim for exercise grow as we make plans for more competitions and seminars for the 2023 season. Thank you so much for your time!
