We assist single parents in post-secondary education with a holistic two-generation approach for them to graduate on time at their highest academic level. We are pivoting with the times in such a way that we are now looking to partner with businesses & organizations to work with their employees that they financially support in college to get their highest return on investment. Also, we are targeting post-secondary learning institutes who financially support their students & staff with special needs and learning supports to graduate at their highest academic potential and on time graduation.
The students recieve a support team to meet their needs and follows up to make sure that the need(s) are addressed and that the student does their part as well. Our goal is to provide affordable housing with onsite childcare and food resources to make sure that our students main necessities are met and they can focus on schooling, parenting and working.
We are partnered with a tutoring company, housing program that helps the student purchase a home paying section 8 rate and will adjust according to their income so that they don't have to worry about lossing their home. Also, we are partnered with a financial company that helps them with their credit score and building a savings account. Last but not least we are partnered with another company that teaches soft skills and multiple trainings and will help the students find jobs and internships.
We have multiple other partnerships that assist with food, transportation, clothing etc.I was once the student that we served where as I was in college, became homeless, had to give my child up and it took me a long time to graduate to be able to work and have the income needed to survive and grow. I was introduced to the Dorothy Day apartments for single moms in college and after some time was able to move in, get my child back, graduate and become an educator where I was a student. One of my goals in life was to pay the services that I recieved from the Dorothy Day apartments to another single parent in college trying to graduate.

2. Caseworker to work with our students and their children to obtain resources like tutoring, healthcare services, financial aid or counseling. Their duties include meeting with students to identify their needs, using resources in the program & government, healthcare and financial service industries to offer assistance our students and communicating with their team weekly.
