My name is Han Cassera, soon to be owner of the first alcohol-free entertainment space in Northern Colorado. I have been working with my local SBDC as well as vending at local private events to prepare for the opening of my brick and mortar. The Love Shack will offer an alcohol-free nightlife experience with craft mocktails in a vibrant and safe lounge setting. I have been educating, planning, and preparing for the opening of this space for over a year. I need an investor for seed money to secure a location, purchase proper equipment, train staff, and have adequate funding for the success of starting this business. Revenue, out-of-home (e.g., revenue generated in restaurants and bars) amounts to US$304.60bn in 2024. More bars, restaurants, and clubs are offering NA options to their customers knowing that it will make their venue more accessible and inclusive to those who are choosing sobriety for a night, short-term or long-term. The problem still stands that there are no spaces free from temptations and safety concerns without lacking entertainment quality, that we sober conscious people crave. As an independent contractor in the entertainment industry, I have provided music for these environments for the last 10 years. I have seen addiction and substance abuse tear through people's lives, including my own. This industry is booming and I want to be at the forefront of paving the way. I believe in this business with my entire being and I am willing to do anything to make it come to life. I am seeking the opportunity to make a difference in my community and spread that throughout more communities as my business grows.
