Teens United No Judgement is a non profit organization that has a mission of ending youth & young adult suicide and bullying by providing a discrete way of reporting safety issues and concerns within the school system and home.
It is estimated that suicide is the third leading cause of death between 15-24 yr olds. Youth who are bullied are more likely to commit suicide or at least attempt to.
It is estimated that over 61.1 million dollars are given to suicide prevention companies. Suicide will continue to be a problem mainly in undeserved undeveloped communities. Mental Health plays a huge role in suicide attempts and TUNJ has come up with an app to develop ways to end suicide in youth and young adults as well as bullying, child abuse and school shootings.
We are starting a clothing line, an LLC to monetize our app development and marketing for our organization. So far, we have gained over $15,000 in grant funding. We currently have obtained our domain name as we continue to work on our website to get the word out there about our cause. We also have acquired over 500 supporters on our social media site.
My passion for helping to end youth and young adult suicide comes from my love for children and wanting to give them a discrete way of reporting bullying, suicidal thoughts, child abuse, human trafficking, and school shootings. I believe if youth had a discrete way of reporting safety issues and concerns they would, and if more safety issues got reported it would help to end the issue of youth suicide.
We have an app that we believe is the answer to this problem, however the all launch is very costly.
We are seeking financial assistance to get our app launched and marketed.
