A while back, tried to get a loan from KIVA.ORG, and they denied it. So, I decided to invest in them with $25.00, and we now have a portfolio of $900 I believe. Our losses have been under $2.00. We only borrow to certain types of companies wanting a certain thing.
But, now, I'd like to expand into more at home, within our town and county, and eventually branch out to include our State of Oklahoma.
To get started, it's kind of personal, but I'd like to Consolidate all of our current monthly debts into one loan. $190,000 approx. at 7% interest for 120 months. at the payment of $1694.17
($1700.00) per month.
Step 2, In our town, there is 1, tire shop, that is renting a building that is falling down on them. I'd like to buy a different property, and build them a metal garage type station, with more doors and more lifts. This would increase their area to work in, and give them better opportunities to increase with work forces from the town, and surrounding real estates.
Step 3, To obtain the former Angies Inn, which is located on Route 66. But, to rebuild with better products and paint it to look like if formerly did. This would also increase jobs within our town and open up more opportunities for the town to increase their population.
Step 4. Our town, needs a facelift, within Main Street. Not everything, but on certain locations. Working with the City, I'd like to see the Businesses that need loans to rebuild their buildings. Not a grant, but a loan at 7% interest.
Step 5. Build a New Bank, not a large building, but a large portfolio. We have one Bank, ran by women. I've gotten one loan and paid them back within a few months instead of the year, they loaned to us. Now, they give us one excuse after another, why they can't loan us any money. That just urkes me. So, why not just remove their monopoly on the towns market.
Step 6, Increase, the rental homes within the city of Erick. The kinds of homes, that are safe to live in. And, pest proof. No woods, unless they have been treated properly.
Step 7. Keep the active business in place, which the city really needs to get by, daily. We have a few, that I know of, and some that would be increase, if they just had the new loan, that the current bank refuses to help with, is how I see it, looking in. If, down the road, a business does try and quit paying, we will remove it, and bring a different one in. Or, just remove the person and keep the inventory in place and the store.
Now, the Steps could be moved around. But, I'd like to get Step 1 done, and that would be the proof, that this will work, and we go from there to do the same thing, using the new Bank as the Central stage. We also have a conflict of interest with the President of the Bank. We bought her former parents home and have been slowly putting the correct things into it.
Once, our investment is full filled, we want to look into rebuilding our home, with a much safer one, and keep the original to create more businesses.
The sky is the heights to fly toward, but not the limit a person can go to.
I'll admit, I'm a Dreamer, but it's to help the town we have adopted by moving here on April 1st, 2022. To me, it's family, and I'll work to help each of them, but not give it to them, they will have to work to live also. But, at least, give them a fighting chance to grow their business. Maybe, fulfill their dreams also.
Our company is based on helping others, but never found the investor(?) that would listen to our ideas. You have to invest in people, especially the ones that know how to work to eat. But they have to make sure their family will be safe also.
I do not wear a suit and tie, but this is so, I know who is wanting to know the real person, not what they can get from us.
I'm a Veteran, Retired with 21 years of 3 different branches of the Army. And I've been disabled since 2003. Suppose to use a wheelchair, but so far, only need it in larger stores and hospitals and such.
My wife and I have been married for almost 39 years. It has probably been the hardest job, but the most rewarding also. My wife has CP, but it never slows her down much.
We call our home, Red Roof Mansion, we live Route 66, running by our home every day. We just want to make sure our town grows with the seasons, and we grow our work force also, as the now is moving forward and into the future.
We would like to get started ASAP. And, our first payment would be in Oct. 2023, when I become 63. The rest of the steps will take time, but we believe it's time for it. Before 2024 begins.
Thanks you for your time in this matter. Take care and God Bless You and Yours.
