What started as a venture to introduce people to the wonderful flavors of tea, how it brings people together and creates a magical bond of love and friendship evolved into a full-blown business with an ever-increasing demand for our products as well as services.
 
Starting out as a young entrepreneur from high school, Cody Wallace decided to lay the foundations of a company that could help people uncover the flavors of tea that he grew up with and many others. For some, it’s a morning ritual to have their morning start with a cup of refreshing tea, some drink it as a refreshing cold drink, and that is what Cody intended to share with the world.
 
Our Locations:
An initiative to help his own community grow is now an acclaimed business providing over 70+ different flavors of loose teas along with various accessories at four different locations. This include shops at:

Our Magic:
Our secret is crafting each blend with love, care, and compassion; instead of opting for machines, we decided to keep things organic and coordinate with tea farmers around the globe to bring them fresh and finest blends of teas available in the market. 
 
The process involves carefully rolling or shaping the tea leaves as per the type of tea being produced, using only the finest available ingredients to make tea with an aromatic scent and a memorable taste. We additionally host a wide range of tea-wares and honey to further enhance the tea experience of our customers

The Concept:

Tea is a drink that needs no introduction no matter what part of the world you are in. Different cultures have their own specific teas bound to them, creating an association that is inseparable. 
 
Instead of limiting or binding the particular tea to a particular place/location/people, why not have them available for all people who have a love for tea and like to experiment, experiencing different types of teas, and uncovering various flavors this marvelous drink has to offer. 
 
With this key concept in mind, Cody Wallace, with his partner, Noah Cannon decided to share his love for tea with everyone. This laid the foundation of Taste of Tea, a brand that revolves around tea, dedicated to introducing people to all the different and wonderful flavors of tea. 
 
No matter whether the is hot or cold, nothing can beat its flavor, aroma, and the bond that is developed over a cup of warm or a glass of cold refreshing tea. The expansion of Taste of Tea attests to the love of people for tea, which can not be diminished, as more and more people are moving towards teas instead of opting for coffee or other forms of highly caffeinated drinks.


 

The Problem:

There are over 20,000 different types of teas in the world, and people can’t even name any five of them. With an increase in the demand for tea as it is a healthier alternative for coffee and other highly caffeinated drinks, people now want to uncover all the different flavors of the teas that are there to be discovered. 
 
Teas carry a lot of benefits for health, they are rich in antioxidants and fortify our metabolism. They can have a lasting impact on a regular tea-drinkers overall wellbeing. 
 
As people are becoming more and more aware of it, the demand for different types of teas is off the charts. People just don’t want ‘a tea’, they want blends. They are constantly on the lookout for unique, new, and beneficial flavors of teas that they can enjoy with their friends and family. 
The sweet memories that can be built over a cup of warm or a glass of cold tea can be something truly unique and unforgettable.
 
So the main problem that the majority is faced with is that they can’t find all the different flavors of teas domestically that they can become aware of over the net. There are close to no such service providers currently operating in the market with the said business model, and that is what Taste of Tea strives to change.


 

The Solution:

Taste of Tea hopes to introduce people to all the different flavors of teas by directly working with farmers around the world and hosting a wide range of 70+ different types of teas.
 
Taste of Tea makes it accessible for people to easily find any particular type of tea domestically instead of having to look online for means to order it from an international retailer/seller. 
 
As people are increasingly discovering the art of tea-making, they are also discovering the different types of tea-ware that are traditionally used for making the said types of teas.
 
Tea-making is also associated with a sense of serenity, calm, and patience where people define the whole process of tea making peaceful and nerve soothing. 
 
Taste of Tea is making it all possible for people by directly coordinating with farmers globally and providing people as fresh as possible blends of teas. The process is also greatly beneficial for tea farmers who now have means for direct access to consumers in the USA. 
 
The love for tea in the general populace is only going to grow and Taste of Tea is at the forefront of seizing this opportunity; to pre-emptively capture a rapidly growing market and establish itself as a pioneer and a leader in the extended tea market of the USA.


 

Competitive Advantage:

Our competitive advantage is the humble and relatable beginning that allowed us to gradually expand our roots in the community. It is only present we have four different shops but initially, we began by providing subscription boxes, a model we no longer adhere to. 
 
Additionally, we have the advantage of being in direct contact with farmers from around the globe so we not only have access to a large variety of teas and tea blends, but we also have access to fresh teas that is full of flavor and leaves a lasting impression on our customers. Something they can’t help but turn back to.
 
Moreover, by having four shops in different locations, we have already established selective dominance that we hope to hold and expand even further. 
 
Finally, as we have a close association with tea, having grown up on tea drinks since childhood, we have an idea of the values people associate with tea, tea-ware, and accessories associated with tea.
 
It is with great hope that if we have the necessary funds to keep exerting this dominance in the market, we are likely to emerge as an authoritative figure in this industry. We already have a head start and we would like to keep it that way.
 
Our values, mission, and vision, commitment to this particular domain are all associated and based on personal association with our product, and we are hopeful that they will help us reach our desired goals of introducing the whole of America to the amazing and wonderful flavors of tea.


 

Business Model:

We have shifted from a subscription box model to a shop-based model where we are operating in the traditional retail fashion. Our four shops in the following four locations are a hotspot for tea lovers and have been well received by people.
