50,000 motorists are stopped daily by police officers. While many of these stops are routine, the number of
violent altercations with police officers is steadily rising. Videos of hostile police officers intimidating citizens are going viral on social media platforms and national trust in the police is at an
all time low among all demographics.
StopCop is a mobile app connecting users via video call with a practicing lawyer during traffic stops and other interactions with the police. A StopCop member's location is used to connect them to a lawyer in the state of interaction. Legal advice is provided for their protection and our StopCop trained lawyers prevent intimidation from law enforcement. The video call is recorded to be used for court evidence and social media.
StopCop costs less than a Starbucks coffee. For only $5.00 a month, StopCop is financially attainable for everyone. There are over 240,000,000 drivers in the United States with nearly 260,000,000 projected by 2025.
