Step therapy Kids

Step Therapy Kids is a unique organization that is passionate about helping families affected by autism. We give children the free time and space they need to explore and navigate the world independently. We also give parents the opportunity to manage other areas of their life with the knowledge that their child is well taken care of. The main focus of communication for students will be to help them build relationships with their peers and community. Step Therapy offers students the opportunity to interact with children from other local public schools. We believe community integration is a key component in our program. It helps students participate with local businesses and organizations, giving our high school age students a chance to practice essential social and life skills. Social interactions are all folded into this program to help each child reach their highest potential, independence and happiness. Both our programs give those outside of our school system the opportunity to broaden their understanding of children with autism and other disabilities. By interacting with and witnessing autistic children firsthand, other kids will see what our special needs students are capable of.
