Somatics wishes to develop a modern CRM and mobile application dedicated to the fitness industry as well as provide a freemium service in the vein of other nutrition/workout trackers to the general populace. They believe having both platforms on one application will boost the other similar to how health clubs operate with personal training and memberships offering two streams of revenue that increases the results of the opposing stream; i.e. people who go to the gym are more likely to hire a trainer, people who hire trainers are more likely to see results and continue paying for a gym membership.
Somatics' 5-10 year plan is to develop a technology ecosystem that can handle everything a health club needs through modern technology. The founders of Somatics are heavily connected to social media and have a pre-existing platform to advertise on for extremely low costs relative to other companies. They believe appealing to the general populace will drive gyms towards investing in their CRM over the long term.
The founders are experienced personal trainers with personal connections to dozens of gyms locally and hundreds of trainers virtually. They can implement with these connections within the first calendar year.
