Silent Night Audio Practice, otherwise known as S.N.A.P., is an intimate approach to audio reproduction—whether that be the hardware we listen on, or the software we listen to. Seeking 300k+ in funding to begin production of their flagship speaker and audio amplification line, as well as purchasing the real estate for S.N.A.P. and S.N.A.P. Bar, along with pairing print publication of its affiliate record label, Free Advice, S.N.A.P. seeks to deeply research the precious experiences that highlight music and it's culture--revitalize them to a tee--and bring them to you, packaged all within our speaker demonstration space.

Operating as a High Fidelity listening bar by day and a venue at night, S.N.A.P. Bar is the perfect host to highlight S.N.A.P.'s philosophy on professional and home audio reproduction: large horns, gentle bass, and harmonious timbre flooding the air. Come in, have a drink, enjoy your favorite records and build community in our demonstration space, soon to be open in Warrenton, NC. Here we plan to sell--as well as our own speaker line--other audio components from small creators, records from our own publication Free Advice and other labels, and local apparel in S.N.A.P. Bar's Front Room.

Free Advice is the affiliate record label based in Brooklyn, NY whose work is soon to be published onto vinyl within NC (Asheville area) and will be sold at S.N.A.P. Bar's Front Room. Spearheaded by Maxwell Bryn and Luke Baker, the project established in 2018 has grown tremendously--even holding it's own venue space in Brooklyn, New York. Free Advice focuses on all types of music genre's and hopes to bring a new, nuanced sound to all of our ears to hear.

Silent Night Audio Practice is backed by years of existence in DIY Audio and underground music scenes, with our creators, Maxwell Bryn and JenMichel Marquez, being avid members of local up-and-coming music movements that span from San Diego to North Carolina since their upbringing. Maxwell Bryn is also heavily involved with local music festival Slingshot, that takes place in Durham, NC. The couple-turned-business partner pair has became obsessed with audio reproduction when they met in 2021, and have been working together to craft speaker systems to share with others since.

In summary, Silent Night Audio Practice is asking for 300k to purchase the commercial property to begin manufacturing our own line of unique home audio and professional audio solutions that include speakers themselves and the devices used to amplify their signal, as well as the commercial property for S.N.A.P.'s very own Listening bar and demonstration space, which serves to authenticate our product and stance in music culture, making our efforts worth travelling to.

Market Analysis

The market for high-fidelity audio experiences has been growing rapidly, with an increasing demand for quality audio equipment and unique listening experiences. However, the market is still largely dominated by traditional audio stores and online retailers, with few businesses offering an immersive listening experience combined with food and drink offerings. S.N.A.P. aims to fill this gap in the market and provide a unique space for customers to appreciate music in an unforgettable way.

Target customer demographics

S.N.A.P.’s target customers are music lovers and audiophiles who appreciate high-quality audio equipment and unique listening experiences. The typical customer is someone who is willing to pay for a premium experience and values attention to detail in sound and aesthetics.

The primary target market is adults aged 25-54, both male and female, with a higher income level and education. We will specifically target individuals who are passionate about music and have an appreciation for vintage American and Japanese audio components. Our location in Warrenton, NC, offers an opportunity to tap into the local community of audiophiles, music enthusiasts, and college students who are interested in unique experiences.

The secondary target market is tourists and visitors to the area who are looking for a unique and memorable listening experience. We will focus on promoting S.N.A.P. as a must-visit destination for music lovers traveling to Warrenton and the surrounding areas.

To reach our target customers, we will use a mix of online and offline marketing strategies. These will include social media advertising, influencer partnerships, email marketing, and in-person events and promotions. We will also establish partnerships with local music venues, artists, and record stores to create a network of music enthusiasts who can spread the word about S.N.A.P.

By catering to this target demographic and promoting ourselves through effective marketing channels, we believe we can create a loyal customer base and establish S.N.A.P. as a leader in the high-fidelity audio experience market.

Competitive landscape and differentiators

S.N.A.P. faces competition from various businesses offering entertainment and hospitality services in the area. However, our unique approach of providing a high-fidelity audio experience in a classic jazz lounge with thoughtful cocktails and small plates distinguishes us from the competition.

Our differentiators include a focus on vintage American and Japanese audio components, such as Altec Lansing high-efficiency drivers and horns and Western Electric horns, which are not commonly found in other businesses. This allows us to cater to a niche market of audiophiles and music enthusiasts who appreciate the nuances of high-quality sound.

In addition, we plan to cultivate a culture of local artists and audiophile enthusiasts, creating a community and a unique experience for our customers. This approach sets us apart from other venues that may offer live music but lack the attention to sound quality and the emphasis on community building.

We also plan to publish small-time publications documenting our efforts to collaborate with local artists and create an unparalleled audio experience for our customers. This documentation and emphasis on aesthetics that harmonize with the overall experience further set us apart from the competition.

Overall, we believe that our unique approach to providing an exceptional audio experience combined with a classic jazz lounge atmosphere, thoughtful cocktails, small plates, and a focus on community building, create a differentiated and highly appealing offering to our target audience.
