My name is Bryant Ingram and I’m a programmer. I have been programming for at least 30 years. I’m also a gamer. I love all sorts of games, but when EverQuest came out in 1999, I was forever hooked on MMORPGs. Since then, It has been my goal to create my own MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game). I finally started working on it sometime in 2021. I know this is not something that one person can complete on their own, but I had this crazy idea to use an existing opensource server and just develop the client and create new content. So here I am now, with a majority of the client developed and just starting to focus on the content for my game called Serdika. I cannot make all the content myself and that is why I need investors. I’m looking for investors that are interested in gaming themselves and can share in my long-term vision for Serdika.

Serdika is an MMORPG (massively multiplayer online roll playing game), set in a time of antiquity, and located in the southeastern part of Europe. A player can choose to be one of three factions: Thracian, Paeonian, or Aegean. Play with or against thousands of other players at the same time, in a ruthless unforgiving online world.

We are not trying to compete with AAA games. We are targeting a niche player type that prefers the older style game play associated with the original MMOs like Everquest, Dark Age of Camelot, and World of Warcraft. Game play will include such things as tab targeting, death penalties, corpse retrieval, and requirement of group strategy and cooperation to survive. One deviation from other traditional MMOs is that there will be no classes. However, you will still need to pick and choose your abilities and spells in order to fulfill group roles, such as tank, healer, damage dealer, and crowd control.

With enough funding to hire 7 developers/content creators, we can complete the project in 2 years. Most of the that time is needed to develop the content. The game client itself can be completed in a matter of months. 

Monetization will be through subscriptions, expansions, micro purchases of aesthetic items, and licensing of the game client to other content creators. Account and characters are currently linked to Ethereum accounts and NFTs, and the characters can be sold on OpenSea NFT market place. Therefore, characters can be sold as NFTs as another revenue source. The whole NFT thing was added back when NFTs were popular. They are not as popular now and maybe this feature should be removed entirely.

We will need around 1.8 million USD to complete the development over 4 years. However, by the end of the 4th year, we should be profitable.
