Senonre: One stop shop for eldercare services.

 The U.S. population is aging. Today, there are more than 46 million older adults age 65 and older living in the U.S.; by 2050, that number is expected to grow to almost 90 million.  Between 2020 and 2030 alone, the time the last of the baby boom cohorts reach age 65, the number of older adults is projected to increase by almost 18 million. This means by 2030,  1 in 5 Americans is projected to be 65 years old and over.  (US Census Bureau)

Senonre was designed to meet the needs of this growing population and was developed by Camille Cook.  Camille has been a Family Nurse Practitioner for over 20 years.  Camille currently has a house call practice where most of her patients are seniors.  Many of her patients and family members have complained about the length of time it takes to find services on the internet.  The complaint is that there is no one site where they can find what they need.  They have to search many sites which takes a lot of time.  Also sometimes they don't know what they need which cause more wasted time.  She began to think that there needs to be a more concise and organized method of finding the services.  This is why Senonre was created.

Senonre (Senior Online Resources) is an online business that helps seniors find services from a wide range of service providers.  Senonre is your one-stop-shop for eldercare services.  Senonre was developed to assist seniors and their families to find services.   Senonre addresses the 3 C's: Convenient (available online 24/7), Comprehensive ((thirty different categories of service providers), and Cost-effective (affordable packages).  Senonre has 30 different categories of services with over 300 service providers in its directory.  In order to assess the service providers needed, the customer is asked to complete a Needs Assessment.  This Needs Assessment is a series of questions to help determine the services that are needed.  Once the Needs Assessment is completed, the customer will receive a pdf copy of the recommended service providers.  Depending upon the package, the customer will receive a copy of the recommended service providers, a link sent to the email, phone support, chat support, and a link to access the entire directory of service providers.  

Monthly subscriptions are recommended because the needs of this population change very quickly.  Because of the 
different categories, a customer has access to multiple services depending upon the need.   The different service providers range from assisted living communities to wheelchair repair.   The different categories selected were based upon the most common needs of the geriatric population. 

Each service provider has been contacted by phone and sent an email regarding their placement in the directory.  Information regarding each service provider has been recently updated 2 months ago.  Information for service providers has been gathered from websites, google reviews, information from a contact person from the company.  Independent contractors will be subjected to a background check.  People will be sent a survey to evaluate the quality of service received.   Disclaimer is listed on the website informing the customer that Senonre does not specifically recommend one particular service provider. 

Initially, the listing for the service providers is free.  However, once the website proves to be successful, packages will be offered to the service providers.  Different packages will offer different levels of advertisement and different levels of placement in the directory.  Banner advertisement will be available at a premium cost to service providers.

Funding is required for marketing, working capital, and IT support.  The infrastructure of the business has been developed.  Senonre has a functional website and operational call center.  Funding will allow this company to grow with the ability to become a multi-million dollar company.  Currently, Senonre is only servicing the metro Atlanta area; however, the goal is to make the company national.
