I'm thrilled to share with you an exciting project close to my heart. I've penned a short film script that tells the remarkable story of a gay woman's incredible quest to find her birth parents. Did you know that there are over five thousand adopted individuals in the United States today? My stepdaughter happens to be one of them, and her journey inspired me to create this powerful narrative. Thanks to the advancements in technology, my stepdaughter was able to find us, her birth family. By changing names to protect privacy, the core theme of our film is to illustrate the determination it took for her to persist in her search, even in the face of early rejection. It's a story of resilience, love, and the unbreakable bonds of family.
Russell Productions is seeking $15,000 to enlist the services of skilled and experienced professional filmmakers who will oversee both the pre-production and post-production phases, in addition to the actual filming days for my upcoming short film, titled "Born a Secret." Our primary objective is to submit the film to prominent Short Film Festivals across the United States.
