My name is John Harner, I have worked in manufacturing over 36 years. I am currently working for Halliburton Energy Services as a Production Specialist / Purchase Agent in Carrollton Texas. Over the past couple of years the company determined to move the majority of the manufacturing to Singapore and removed our manufacturing plant. This plant was deemed to be the premier manufacturing plant in the world and Halliburton has now realized that this level of expertise cannot be provided over seas. For the past year we have struggled to find suppliers who can meet the volume and quality demands for machined steel components and processing elements for our customers. We currently have over 450 million on our log books and are using remote suppliers to provide our manufacturing needs. In an effort to meet this obligation I was instructed to locate local vendors and suppliers and have come up short. I have determined to move into a different direction to not only fulfill my dreams and aspirations but also to fill the void caused from losing this large facility.
The business described below has just come up for sale and I am looking for someone willing to help acquire this already functioning and profitable manufacturing plant to add an entire new product line to double the revenue in the first two years.
If this large scale venture is something that appeals to you please don't hesitate to contact me to discuss the dynamics and details to determine if this is a good fit.
Thank you for your consideration.
