Raising $1MM for OTR tire recycling startup

Recycle the largest tires in the world, from the mining industry. Recycling these tires offers an environmentally friendly solution, while providing a quality product to fulfill demand across several industries.  This business is unique in that it has multiple revenue streams, including the obtaining of the raw materials, which are in the form of tires.  I currently have LOI's and purchase orders for all the product I can produce as soon as I can get the plant up and running.  This plant will make a 2" rubber buffing as the primary product, with a 1/2" buffing strand and crumb/powder rubber blend as a secondary byproduct that is consequently produced during production of the primary product.  This process also produces large amounts of steel that can be recycled at heavy melt prices.  Every portion of these tires are recycled into useful products, so there is no part of the tire that isn't used.  One of the greatest advantages this business has, is its close proximity to so many large mines.  In addition, this OTR recycling plant would be the only recycling plant of this nature in the western United States, giving it a unique and uncontested operational position within the industry.

I am a licensed master electrician, which has been my career since 1998.  For the first 5 years of my career working in construction, for the next 9 years of my career were in industrial, more specifically manufacturing.  After that I found an opportunity to expand my career into electrical engineering, which developed into project management, where I managed multiple, multi-million dollar projects within the municipal water/waste water sector.  During this time I was assigned a project to manage that was in the mining industry, after the company I worked dissolved, I stayed in the mining industry and have been working in mines for the past 8 years.  During my time spent in mines, I have met some great people and have come to personally know many individuals in the management structures of various small and large mining corporations.  During my time in the mining industry, I noticed that many of them had piles of used haul truck tires being stored.  It wasn't until I became aware of a new piece of equipment and process that could effectively breakdown and recycle these enormous tires, that allowed me to connect my mining experience with an opportunity to offer these mines an avenue to dispose of these tires in an environmentally friendly way.

A business of this nature does take a considerable amount of capital to start.  Unfortunately, I do not personally have the capital needed to get this business up and running.  I do, however, have $100K to invest in this business personally.  I am seeking $800K to get this business started and will continually grow organically in stages over the next 4 years.   I have a business plan,  6 year proforma, sales orders and LOI's.
