Panama faces a 300-million-liter milk deficit annually and rising demand for pork, poultry, and eggs, especially as the population grows at 1.3% per year. Chicken is the most consumed animal protein in the country.
By 2025, protein demand is expected to increase due to urban population growth, improved incomes, and export opportunities for pork and fish to markets like China and the U.S. The local supply gap presents a high-growth opportunity.
We currently generate income from selling pork, chicken, and milk, as well as providing milk transportation services to our main client, Estrella Azul. With funding, we plan to grow these core revenue streams by increasing our production capacity. Expansion will also allow us to add egg and fish sales and offer poultry slaughter services to other local farms. Projected gross revenue in year one exceeds $8.9M, with average gross profit margins of 27%, reaching up to 70% in processing services.
