Nia is a non-profit organization that has developed software and a hardware tool chain used by hospitals in low-income countries to produce prosthetics and orthotics. The process is fully digital, incorporating digital scanners, Nia's mesh-CAD modeling software (NiaFit(c)), and 3D printers. Nia is currently working on deployments of its technologies in Sri Lanka and the Ukraine.
Nia is now looking for investors to set up a new company (NewCo) to expand operations/sales into high-income (OECD) countries. Nia's is transfering its IP into NewCo and seeking investor capital in the amount of $500 - 1,000K. As a for-profit organization, NewCo will further develop and sell the NiaFit software on a subscription basis.
NiaFit software is built upon a modern gaming platform (Unity 3D), which allows for superior user visualizations and the ability to port the software to any operating platform, including VR.
To date, Nia has raised over $3 million for its work in low-income countries, including installations/training, large clinical studies and the development of its proprietary software, NiaFit(c).
Nia is open to types of funding models, including strategic relationships, as appropriate.
