We are looking for funding in the form of a loan, investment, or line of credit to expand a Gourmet Mushroom growing operation in Calgary, Alberta. We have 24 grocery stores lined up and multiple restaurants as customers. We will also be involved with three different home delivery services. The expansion in production will be enough to handle the contracts of 1000lbs a week. The current wholesale price is $8-$14 a pound. The funds will be used to purchase the equipment needed to increase the production along with the working capital for the two months needed to cover the costs of the start up time. There is $12,500 in grant funding already to help in the expansion process. The production will be in a warehouse in the industrial area in Calgary. We will also produce dried mushrooms and mushroom powders to take up any extra production and sold in the grocery stores.
