Current Market
There are a handful of consulting and franchise development companies that offer similar services as MSH but on much larger scales which isn't necessarily a good thing. From my experience, not ONE of these companies offer a custom back end technology solution like we do. Additionally, many of these companies seek majority ownership and control, robbing the founders of any directional insight or planning. Lastly, they take a cookie cutter approach with every client, leaving major gaps in their client's foundation which can lead to future operational issues for the franchisor.
Gaps in the Market
1. Franchisors, for the most part, don’t have access to the proper technology that can streamline the complex processes involved in operating and supporting a franchised brand.
2. Young franchisors have a very difficult time building a solid foundation for them to operate, which is typically a 5-7-year learning curve leaving their franchisees to fend for themselves.
3. Most franchise development and consulting companies are led by sales individuals that don’t have the experience or expertise to set the franchisor up for success.
