Mcleanics Technology Corporation

Mcleanics Technology Corporation (Mcleanics) is an FCC licensed telecommunications carrier with a primary focus of providing wireless internet and mobile phone service and devices (i.e. smart phones, tablets. routers, etc.). Mcleanics’ mission is to connect the unconnected.

Mcleanics is currently building a wireless network throughout the city of Charlotte that consist of 74 cell towers (base stations) that are capable of providing wireless internet and mobile phone service to underserved areas.  MTC currently has 10 base stations (cell towers) with 20 additional towers set for deployment within this quarter. 

Our wireless network will close the digital gap and facilitate wireless internet and mobile phone service to subscribers at an affordable cost. 

Census data tells us that approximately 67,000 households in Charlotte lack high-speed internet connection, 12,000 of these households fall within the City’s defined Corridors of Opportunity. This lack of high-speed internet connection impacts these households’ ability to participate in remote learning, remote work, virtual medical care, and virtual public meetings. This disconnect, or digital divide, further exacerbates barriers to economic mobility and community resilience. Internet connection is often limited in these areas because of affordability, lack of internet infrastructure, etc.

•Total U.S. Market Size: $147 billion spent per year. 

•Average Monthly/Annual Cost: $116 spent per month; $1,392 spent per year. 

•Percent of Households: 82% of U.S. households pay Cable & Internet bills. 

•Average Annual Cost per U.S. Household: $1,141 per year. 

•Percent of Annual Income: Cable & Internet bills amount to 2% of consumers’ income per 

 year. 

Although there are other carriers that offer wireless internet and mobile phone service, we have patented technologies that give us an edge or niche over our competitors. 

Further, because we are an FCC authorized ACP carrier, we have the ability to offer “FREE” internet and mobile phone service to certain eligible subscribers wherein the FCC will pay for their service.
