Podcasts are beating digital video as the fastest growing sector in media. The number of people that listen to podcasts has increased by over 40 million in the last year. By 2025, global listeners are expected to surpass 500 million - around 23.5% of all internet users. The worldwide podcasting market will be worth $23.56B in 2023.

However, Search Engines and Podcast Players offer limited search, leaving 54 million hours nearly impossible to discover. Highly Active listeners prefer consuming focused, short-form content, with 40% even turning to TikTok instead of Google for basic search. Additionally, Podcasters are struggling to find engaged listeners. 99% of podcasts average less than 5000 listens per episode, with 80% of new podcasts dying out within a year (something called Podfading).

There is no distribution system for podcast content to support the Highly Active listener’s preferred method of consumption nor to support Podcaster growth that doesn’t rely on their manual efforts.

Our proprietary in-house developed smart technology captures key moments in content using what we call Viral Intelligence™. Our machine learning models automatically create 15-90 second Marbyls from the 5 most interesting, viral attribute ’stocked’, moments inside of every podcast episode. These Marbyls (emotionally connective moments) surface through our engine, driving show growth automatically for creators, while allowing users the easiest way to get straight into the conversations and topics they most care about in a moment.

Our first revenue stream is Monthly Subscriptions for Podcasters. Funding gets us to expected profitability by Year 3, with Subscriptions having expected gross margins of +80% and serving as a model that allows for stable and predictable revenue (35-50% of total) that in turn increases customer lifetime value.  Funding will concurrently seed additional phased Revenue Streams in Years 2 & 3 through the buildout of underlying tech to enable: 

2nd = Enterprise API (15-20%)
3rd = Programmatic Data (10-25%)
4th = In-App Advertising (20-30%)

Once self-sustaining with incremental cash flow in Years 3-5, Marbyl aims to increase market share through various additional offerings, such as:
