Commercial landscaping company. Going on 4.5 yrs in business. I carry the contractors license called a C-10. I only work on HOA’s and commercial properties. I have monthly guaranteed contracts. One of the problems is, my partners don’t want to grow, due to an illness, one partner wants to leave and now the other one does. But I am the face of the company, I take great pride in my reputation and my working relationships with my customers. We have done around 3 million since we started, because my relationships. But my partners have no vision, so we have no marketing, no social media etc. I want to grow because I’m very good at what I do. But having partners who don’t want to grow is cause issues.
Like all big cities, I have lots of competition, but I never worry about someone else’s business, I’m focused on mine. Funding would buy my partners out, let me go all in on marketing, maybe buy some more equipment. I have a great yard and office . I have some nice trucks and trailers. Winning to me is making a honest profit, continuing my reputation as being an honest good company. This May will mark my 23rd year in commercial landscaping. In total including my last company I worked for, I’ve sold close to $5 million in what we call extras.
