Generation Focus: Girls Finish God's Finest is an organization created with the community in mind.  The founder, Chavala Wilkerson, has been in the natural hair industry for 20 years and has mentored many women into becoming business owners.  With her guidance, they received the necessary principles and skills to venture into their own businesses.  With the same heart, she has created a non-profit to help girls ages 9-17 develop those same principles to become business owners and/or leaders in their choice of industry.  Armed with Godly principles, these young ladies will be the next generation of leaders that operate with emotional intelligence, business acumen, and a heart for their community.  As of July, the organization is using a small space to meet however looking to expand into a space that features computer/innovation rooms, stages to hone in on public speaking skills, thinking rooms, meditation spaces, small gym area, dance studio, and art spaces.  With this space, we will be able to help more young ladies develop these skills that they can use in their future careers and personal development.
Our team is made up of 3 ladies.  Lanesha Green, Chavala Wilkerson & Latonya Rose.  Each of these ladies has a heart for young ladies and their desire is to see them prosper in life.  Through guided conversations, group discussions, visioning activities, business development and product creation the young ladies have gained techniques to brand their business, Fresh & Blessed.  Through creation of the brand, we have helped them hone in on skills necessary for success in a team focused environment.
With your help, we can obtain our building and continue to change lives exponentially.  We appreciate your consideration.
