Letters from the Vatican

Raising $25k for my Multi-Expressionist Vatican Novel

Salutations Dear Investors,

What are the logistics of faith?

Inspired by prayer at the Vatican during the height of COVID, I hand wrote a collection of letters, an epistolary novel that includes the necessity for humble gratitude, matters of the times, poems, theories, songs, pictures, plays, dreams, inspirations, and visions, and innovations. Each letter could be its own episode on a TV series, I dreamt that the script I wrote at the end titled, "Dear Spike Lee," ended homelessness while documenting a tournament, "The Worldwide Golf Tournament of Money," where all financial debts and itemized wishes were cleared by the year of Jubilee 2025. Every 25 years the Vatican prays for our plenary indulgence, human's freedom from punishment in a manner that is sanctified and dignified for all involved.

I am requesting these monies for Mark Weinstein, of an experienced New York Times Bestselling Firm Kevin Anderson & Associates at ka-writing.com who will need 6-8 weeks to make this work presentable as I also do all I can to get the work out there for that which I have envisioned by 2025, the Vatican's year of Jubilee. #WOGOTOMO on Twitter. Funds would also be allotted for the creation of the QR code in place of some sensitive letters that require seed money to divulge that would there on be initial shares for those contributors. These are app concepts and a new currency based on meritocracy that are also an interactive part of a greater masterpiece.

The goal is to be published by Stephen Colbert's publisher at Grand Central Publishing. Also, each letter reads like monologue and will be presented as its own episode of a TV series I have already written a pilot script for that has been reviewed by (the future Ivy League) New York University's Tisch Alumni Script Development and Networking Group. Once presentable with a literary agent this TV series will be pitched to Netflix and Amazon.

The uniquely altruistic film would be funded through the QR code.

The idea of sculptures also make quite the reprise. I had dreamt of sculptures being gifted to countries who had help clear the debts and itemized wishes of other countries. In a place of such magnificent prayer, I am eager to share my experience as a born again Christian of sound logical upbringing these dreams, these testimonies, considerations for the logistics of faith and the ongoing prayers for Paradise and eternal life.

And then we waltzed at the Vatican. Taylor Swift and Dolly Parton was there, the women were up to something.

Then we built The West House in Los Angeles: the deepest building on the planet before it became the tallest that includes an upsidedown underground pyramid rising only an inch above sea level with a foot high curled lip. With rooms for everyone and every country, religion, spirituality, plants, animals, and insects. All could come though they would not want to stay long with the house's exquisite hospitality and Batman bat cave like capacity that would gently inspire every visitor to continue their enlightened path. The west coast counterpart of The White House, for yours truly, The First and the Newest, Multi-Expressionist Artist President aka Creative President Shawna P. Cupples who everyone's been cool with since watching over America during the government shutdown of 2019. Previously of the Cupples-Trump administration, now the supportive Cupples-Biden administration eradicating tons of student loan debt; really and surreally.

I am Shawna P. Cupples, a voracious violet and bobcat from New York University, Tisch School of the Arts, Playwrights Horizons Theater School.

Ever since I was born, I wanted to create a better world where my Mom and Dad could be happy. When they couldn't have any more children they adopted me. While I've been singing ever since I never looked back, my masterpiece of multiple expressions has now been connected to a sense of time. I invite you to invest in this very important segment of masterpiece, "The Paradise Project," that is:

Letters from the Vatican.

Thus far, "The Paradise Project," has included my first multi-genre, multi-lingual album, "The Soul Skein of Shawna Cupples," that has its first song, "Shawna Cupples ~ Slide the Woo," featured on Paul Porter's radio station 98.5FM, The Wire in Orlando, FL. This R&B song about forgiveness has been featured on New York City's @CityJamMusic as a newly released music video with world renowned performer Akil "Apollo" Davis and is on YouTube playlists with Erykah Badu, Lauryn Hill, and Billie Eillish.

This contemplative unfolding also includes art from my inner artistic persona Smag who drew an intricate abstract line art piece while visiting with Dennis,  an elderly father of a friend whose greatest delight was being able to eat all the chocolate ice cream he could handle because he had no teeth.

There are several other works that are a part of this collection. Prior to this trip to the Vatican I was to host an, "Art for Veterans," Veteran's Day Event for the first AMVETS in Culver City, that would feature my sculpture for Ray Grossman, the Army veteran of Prussian nobility. Legend has it that his Baron grandfather was a falconer who taught his third cousin, the Red Baron, how to dogfight with the deftness of a mighty bird. The Red Baron was nicknamed as such for his 80 air combat victories piloted in his aircraft painted red during World War 1.  When I was too ill to host this event and share my sculpture that had been unduly destroyed and reimagined a few times.

"Leave no veteran behind, leave no civilian behind." This was a developing thesis of mine - which shouldn't directly translate as sexworkers and legalized drugs for all veterans since, .. I wouldn't want to be forced into sexual slavery or drug addiction, but I had stalwartly considered the entire time that art saves and art heals. All which is broken and that which dysfunctional, could grow harmoniously with the patience of humanity and liberal arts. This is ultimately what my work with another veteran, Marty Pesin, evolved towards - an entry into my own creatively presidential #5HRMUSICALCHALLENGE (which could also be a 3 hours musical with 2 hours for dinner, fellowship, local art and music). He had resolved his own meth addiction and might have picked up his own weekly habit of intimacy with someone who didn't mind his pruritus nodularis. He's the one who leaned over and first spoke to me while I was with my family at Yellowstone National Park inquiring about Old Faithful when he said, "So when is this thing supposed to go off?" He was a dutiful husband to two different ex wives.

Marty had fallen and hurt his hip and I was mysteriously ill of a condition I was most certain wasn't morbid obesity (as cruelly misdiagnosed). I knew there was a story here even as Marty knew that this was more than just about him - even as I would later interview veteran biographers who I shall produce to add his biography to the world of my masterpiece, "The Paradise Project." We pray that his forthcoming surgeries go well.

I did not seek to get too in depth about every facet of, "The Paradise Project," thus far. Maybe as I rest this evening, I'll concede to share more upon waking. I do wish to impart that I feel as the vessel for this particular arc to take place. Where I bare myself upon this page and with sincerity, ask you to join me, ask you to believe in my endeavor to present these letters from the Vatican.
