Dear Investor Friend,

Do YOU want to affect the future?  Our vision has been to provide a private school that serves students, whether gifted or other special needs, who need small group attention to succeed!  LPELL is a fully accredited private school through the Florida Department of Education and our staff is vetted through the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.  In order to grow, we have two requests:

Our 1st request is financially smaller but VERY necessary at this time:  Since Florida has become a "school choice" state, 100% of our students are on state scholarships.  This has been both a blessing and honestly, a challenge over the years.  The "Step Up for Students State Scholarship" business model has changed each year and we believe it is finally leveling off.  When we started participating with SUFS, it took 6-9 months before we would see our tuition funds.  (I might add that we had 7 students in which we were not reimbursed for the Fall tuition - 2023-2024 school year until this last January 2025.) This made us constantly behind financially. We tapped our own personal funds to pay our staff, our lease, and supplies because we BELIEVE we are important members of our community!  In the 2024-2025 school year, SUFS finally became streamlined but tuition is still only paid four times a year: September, November, February, and the end of April.  We have no income during the summer yet all of our bills are still due including payroll.  It is our desire to obtain an investor that can help us sustain the school, especially through this summer.  

Our 2nd request:  We are growing  by leaps and bounds and need a bigger facility! Our current leased location is very limited in space AND the college/landlord is selling our campus to a church this Summer 2025.  We have been looking at existing buildings but Highlands County does not have much available or require too much money to retrofit for a K-12 school.  Therefore, we have been looking to purchase land and build our own facility to our specifications.   We especially believe in "green space" and getting students outside of the classroom as well. It is NOW time to look for a financial investor who is willing to assist our school in growing to its fullest potential and to continue to serve our rural community!
